Description:
The issue is related to an infinite loop in the DVB-S2-BB dissector, which can cause a denial of service. This can be triggered via packet injection or by using a crafted capture file.
Recommendations:
For Wireshark versions 3.4.0 through 3.4.5, update to a version outside of this range to resolve the issue.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
