Description
The issue allows an authenticated user to execute code remotely due to incorrectly neutralizing user-controlled input that could be interpreted as a server-side include (SSI) directive.
Recommendations
For IBM Cognos Analytics versions 11.1.7 through 11.2.0, consider restricting access to the server-side include functionality until a patch is available.
As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the interpretation of user-controlled input as SSI directives until the issue is resolved.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
