Description:
The protection mechanism for invalid unlock attempts in Ionic Identity Vault can be bypassed. This issue allows for the circumvention of the lockout mechanism designed to prevent excessive invalid unlock attempts.
Recommendations:
For versions prior to 5.0.5, update to version 5.0.5 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider implementing additional security measures to monitor and limit unlock attempts until the update can be applied.
