Description
The issue is related to an out-of-bounds write in memory while processing project files, which may allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code. This can be exploited by an attacker to gain unauthorized access and control.
Recommendations
For Wecon PLC Editor versions 1.3.8 and prior, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to project files until a patch is available.
