The issue is related to an out-of-bounds read in the SNMP stack, allowing an attacker to cause a denial of service and potentially disclose information. This can be achieved via crafted SNMP packets to the
snmp ber decode string len buffer function in os/net/app-layer/snmp/snmp-ber.c.Recommendations
For Contiki-NG versions 4.4 and earlier, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
