The issue allows authenticated team members to access the email address of the team creator via an API, resulting in sensitive and private information disclosure.
Recommendations
For Mattermost versions 6.3.0 and earlier, consider restricting access to the API endpoint that discloses the email address of the team creator until a patch is available.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
