Description
The issue is related to an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in memory. This can be exploited by an attacker to disclose protected information or execute arbitrary code using specially crafted CXP files.
Recommendations
For CX-Programmer versions 9.76.1 and earlier, avoid opening specially crafted CXP files until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to CXP files from untrusted sources to minimize the risk of exploitation.
