Description
A security issue in Spectrum Scale allows a non-root user to overflow the mmfsd daemon with requests, preventing it from servicing other requests.
Recommendations
For Spectrum Scale version 5.0, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue.
For Spectrum Scale version 5.1, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the mmfsd daemon to minimize the risk of exploitation.
