JetBrains Ktor versions prior to 2.3.5
Description
The default configuration of ContentNegotiation with XML format in JetBrains Ktor is vulnerable to XXE.
Recommendations
For versions prior to 2.3.5, update to version 2.3.5 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the XML format in the ContentNegotiation configuration until a patch is available. Restrict access to the ContentNegotiation module to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the XML format in the affected API endpoints until the issue is resolved.
