Description
A heap out-of-bound write issue exists in the parsing of grid images in libsavscmn.so, allowing local attackers to execute arbitrary code. This issue affects versions prior to the SMR June-2024 Release 1.
Recommendations
For versions prior to SMR June-2024 Release 1, update to the SMR June-2024 Release 1 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the grid image parsing functionality in libsavscmn.so until a patch is available.
