Description A critical vulnerability was found in the function formexeCommand of the file /goform/execCommand. The manipulation of the argument cmdinput leads to a stack-based buffer overflow. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.

Recommendations For Tenda FH1205 version 2.0.0.7(775), as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the formexeCommand function until a patch is available. Restrict access to the /goform/execCommand endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the argument cmdinput in the affected endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
