Description A NULL pointer dereference in IP socket options processing of the Networking Stack could allow an attacker with local access to cause a denial-of-service condition in the context of the Networking Stack process.

For QNX Software Development Platform (SDP) version 7.1, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting local access to the Networking Stack to minimize the risk of exploitation.
