Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A memory leak issue has been resolved in the Linux kernel's udmabuf error handling. The problem occurs when
dma buf fd() fails due to a full FD table in export udmabuf(), resulting in a dma buf being left in memory with a dangling pointer. Although this does not seem to lead to anything bad except a memory leak, it has been fixed by moving the dma buf fd() call out of export udmabuf() to allow for different error handling. The memory leak seems to have existed since the introduction of udmabuf.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
