Description
An exposed IOCTL (Input/Output Control) with insufficient access control allows a local user to bypass driver verification and invoke arbitrary IOCTLs, leading to privilege escalation. IOCTL is a device-driver communication mechanism used by the operating system to send control codes to a device driver.
