Description An issue exists in the synaptics-rmi4 driver where the rmi f54 buffer queue() function fails to verify the success of the worker thread. When the worker fails due to register read failures or timeouts, the queue thread returns success regardless, which results in the delivery of uninitialized or stale memory to userspace.
