Description An issue exists in the netfilter conntrack component where the ct extension genid infrastructure disables all ct extensions for unconfirmed conntracks. This occurs because the infrastructure was intended only for ct helper and ct timeout. Consequently, certain parts of the codebase dereference the ct extension without performing a NULL check, which can lead to a system crash.
