Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A race condition exists in the zynqmp power driver during the registration of suspend and subsystem restart events via the register event() function. The work structures zynqmp pm init suspend work and zynqmp pm init restart work were being allocated and initialized after the registration call. If the firmware triggers an event after registration but before allocation, the suspend event callback() or subsystem restart event callback() functions may dereference a NULL pointer within work pending(), resulting in a system crash.
Recommendations Allocate and initialize the work structures before registering the events. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
