Description
The
requireWellFormed: true serializer validates DocumentType.publicId and DocumentType.systemId using PubidLiteral match and SystemLiteral match expressions produced by the reg() function in lib/grammar.js. Because these expressions inherit the multiline flag, a valid literal on the first line can satisfy the matcher while allowing line terminator characters (U+000A, U+000D, U+2028, or U+2029) and breakout markup to remain in the emitted <!DOCTYPE ...> declaration. This behavior bypasses the strict-serialization mitigation intended to prevent DocumentType injection. Note that creation and direct property assignment remain unvalidated by design.Recommendations
