Description An out-of-bounds memory read exists in the drm/connector/hdmi component. A helper function incorrectly used the size of the destination buffer instead of the source buffer when copying an audio infoframe. This resulted in the system attempting to copy 60 bytes of data from a 28-byte allocation. While this is a read operation and cannot corrupt memory, it could potentially lead to an accvio bug if the read extends beyond the end of a memory page.

Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
