Description A flaw exists in the HID huawei module where the to usb interface() function is called without first verifying if the device is actually a USB device using hid is usb(). This is problematic because uhid can create devices that identify as being on BUS USB but lack a real USB parent, which can lead to a kernel splat (a kernel panic or crash).

Recommendations Update to version 7.2.5-1.1 or newer.
