Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A stack-based buffer overflow exists in the
digital in recv sensf res() function. The issue occurs when the function uses memcpy() to copy resp->len bytes from a remote NFC-F device response into the target.sensf res field of the nfc target struct without performing an upper-bound check. A malicious nearby NFC-F device could send an oversized SENSF RES response to trigger this overflow.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
