Description
In the Alpha architecture implementation of the Linux kernel, the
pci mmap resource() function fails to verify security locked down(LOCKDOWN PCI ACCESS) before permitting userspace to map PCI Base Address Registers (BARs). This omission could allow DMA attacks when the kernel is in lockdown mode.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
