Description A flaw exists in the dm-pcache component where the cache replay() function follows the on-media last-kset chain using the next cache seg id variable without implementing cond resched(). A forged chain that points back to a previously visited segment can cause the replay loop to run indefinitely, leading to a Denial of Service (DoS) during mount.

Recommendations Update to version 7.2.6-1.1 or newer.
