**Description**
The issue allows remote authenticated users to gain privileges by leveraging the teacher role and modifying their own capabilities. This can be demonstrated by obtaining the `backup:userinfo` capability.
**Recommendations**
For Moodle versions 2.0.x through 2.0.8, update to version 2.0.9 or later.
For Moodle versions 2.1.x through 2.1.5, update to version 2.1.6 or later.
For Moodle versions 2.2.x through 2.2.2, update to version 2.2.3 or later.
