**Description**
The issue in the Linux kernel allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service or possibly have other impacts by triggering the use of the GRO path for large crafted packets. This can be demonstrated by packets containing only VLAN headers.

For Linux kernel versions prior to 4.8.3, update to version 4.8.3 or later to resolve the issue.
