Description
The issue is related to a buffer overflow in the X11 dissector, which can be triggered while parsing keysyms, allowing remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code.
Recommendations
For Ethereal versions 0.9.3 and earlier, update to a version later than 0.9.3 to resolve the issue.
