Description The issue allows remote attackers to redirect users to arbitrary web sites and conduct phishing attacks via a URL in the q parameter, possibly related to the quickjump function. This can be exploited by including a malicious URL in the search query.

Recommendations For Trac versions prior to 0.10.5, update to version 0.10.5 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the search script or disabling the quickjump function to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the q parameter in the search endpoint until the issue is resolved.
