Description The CTDB dissector in Wireshark allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in a loop and CPU consumption, via a malformed packet.

Recommendations For Wireshark versions 1.4.x through 1.4.14, update to version 1.4.15 or later. For Wireshark versions 1.6.x through 1.6.9, update to version 1.6.10 or later. For Wireshark versions 1.8.x through 1.8.1, update to version 1.8.2 or later.
