Description The issue allows local users to overwrite arbitrary files via a symlink attack on a temporary file with a predictable name in /tmp. This is due to vulnerabilities in two components: (1) installer/basedefs.py and (2) modules/ospluginutils.py.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
