Description
The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in an assertion failure and crash, by sending a KICK command for a user who is not on the associated channel.
Recommendations
For ngIRCd versions 20 through 20.1, consider restricting access to the KICK command until a patch is available.
