Description The issue allows guest OS users to cause a denial of service, resulting in data loss, by performing filesystem write operations on a read-only disk that supports either the BLKIF OP DISCARD (also known as discard or TRIM) or the SCSI UNMAP feature. This is due to a problem in the dispatch discard io function in the Xen blkback implementation.

Recommendations For Linux kernel versions prior to 3.10.5, update to version 3.10.5 or later to resolve the issue.
