Description The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in a device reload. This can be achieved by sending either an ICMP or ICMPv6 packet that is not properly handled during decryption when an IPsec VPN tunnel is enabled.

Recommendations For Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software versions 9.1 through 9.1(1.6), update to version 9.1(1.7) or later to resolve the issue.
