Description
The issue allows local users to obtain sensitive information, specifically Apple ID credentials, by reading the iBooks log file. This occurs because the iBooks Commerce component in Apple OS X places these credentials in the log.
Recommendations
For versions prior to 10.9.4, update to version 10.9.4 or later to resolve the issue.
