Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service, resulting in an application crash, via crafted audio samples in an m4a file. This is due to a buffer overflow in QuickTime.

As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the use of crafted audio samples in m4a files to minimize the risk of exploitation.
