Description
The issue is related to the initialization of a variable used in calls to the Skia SkBitmap::setAlphaType function in the Blink component of Google Chrome. This might allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service or possibly have unspecified other impact via a crafted HTML document.
Recommendations
For versions prior to 40.0.2214.91, update to version 40.0.2214.91 or later to resolve the issue.
