Description
The issue allows local users to cause a denial of service, resulting in a TM Bad Thing exception and panic, via a crafted application. This is due to the signal implementation not checking for an MSR with both the S and T bits set.
Recommendations
For Linux kernel versions prior to 4.3.5 on powerpc platforms: update to version 4.3.5 or later to resolve the issue.
