Description
The issue is caused by a memory buffer overflow. It may allow a remote attacker to cause a denial of service on the active Internet Explorer tab by using a specially crafted HTML link.
Recommendations
For McAfee VirusScan Enterprise versions 8.8 Patch 8 and earlier, update to a version later than 8.8 Patch 8 to resolve the issue.
