Description The issue allows a remote attacker to conduct phishing attacks using an open redirect attack. By persuading a victim to visit a specially-crafted Web site, the attacker could exploit this to spoof the URL displayed, redirecting a user to a malicious Web site that would appear to be trusted. This could allow the attacker to obtain highly sensitive information or conduct further attacks against the victim.

Recommendations For versions 7.0 through 9.0, update to a version that includes a fix for this issue to prevent open redirect attacks. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to sensitive information and validating URLs to minimize the risk of exploitation.
