Description The issue is related to resource management errors in the Login Enhancements (Login Block) feature of Cisco IOS Software. It may allow a remote attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition by triggering a reload of the affected system.

Recommendations For Cisco IOS Software versions 15.4(2)T through 15.4(3)M, update to a fixed version to resolve the issue. For Cisco IOS Software version 15.4(2)CG and later, update to a fixed version to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Login Enhancements (Login Block) feature until a patch is available.
