Description The issue concerns field caps and mapping API leaking field names, but not values, for fields that are not allowed for the user when field level security (FLS) is activated. This occurs in Search Guard when field level security is enabled.

Recommendations For versions prior to 24.0, update to version 24.0 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the field caps and mapping API to minimize the risk of exploitation.
