Description
The issue allows command injection via crafted HTTP requests sent by a remote, authenticated attacker to the "/GponForm/usb restore Form?script/" endpoint. This enables the attacker to execute commands on the device.
Recommendations
For Alcatel Lucent I-240W-Q GPON ONT version 3FE54567BOZJ19, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the "/GponForm/usb restore Form?script/" endpoint until a patch is available. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
