Description The issue is related to the restoration of untrusted data in memory, which can allow a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to protected information or cause a denial of service. The problem lacks certain net.sf.ehcache blocking, which is necessary for security.

Recommendations For FasterXML jackson-databind versions 2.0.0 through 2.9.10.1, update to version 2.9.10.2 or later. For FasterXML jackson-databind versions 2.6.0 through 2.6.7.3, update to version 2.6.7.4 or later. For FasterXML jackson-databind versions 2.7.0 through 2.7.9.6, update to version 2.7.9.7 or later. For FasterXML jackson-databind versions 2.8.0 through 2.8.11.4, update to version 2.8.11.5 or later. As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the use of net.sf.ehcache until a patch is available.
