Description The issue is related to insufficient input validation in the Web Container component of Oracle WebLogic Server, allowing an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise the server. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle WebLogic Server accessible data.

Recommendations For Oracle WebLogic Server versions 12.2.1.3.0 and 12.2.1.4.0, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue. For Oracle WebLogic Server version 14.1.1.0.0, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Web Container component until a patch is available.
