Description The issue is an out-of-bounds write vulnerability that allows a local attacker to obtain information and/or execute arbitrary code. This can be achieved by having a user open a specially crafted project file.

Recommendations For versions 4.0.12.0 and earlier, consider restricting access to project files from untrusted sources until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid opening specially crafted project files with V-Server until the issue is resolved.
