The issue allows for a Denial of Service via multi-packet uploads in UDP.
Recommendations
For memcached version 1.6.7, consider disabling UDP support as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Restrict access to the memcached service to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
