Description The WPB Advanced FAQ WordPress plugin does not validate and escape some of its shortcode attributes before outputting them back in a page/post where the shortcode is embedded, which could allow users with the contributor role and above to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks.

Recommendations For versions 1.0.0 through 1.0.6, consider disabling the vulnerable shortcode attributes until a patch is available. Restrict access to the page/post where the shortcode is embedded to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the vulnerable shortcode attributes in the affected pages/posts until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
