Description The issue concerns the lack of validation and escaping of certain shortcode attributes in the GS Insever Portfolio WordPress plugin. This could allow users with the contributor role and above to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks when these attributes are outputted back in a page or post where the shortcode is embedded.

Recommendations For GS Insever Portfolio WordPress plugin versions prior to 1.4.5, update to version 1.4.5 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of shortcodes by users with the contributor role and above until the update is applied.
