Description The issue is related to a missing capability check on the ajax edit folder function, allowing authenticated attackers with subscriber-level permissions and above to invoke this function. This enables them to perform actions intended for administrators, such as modifying the folder structure maintained by the plugin.

Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 2.18.16, update to a version higher than 2.18.16 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the ajax edit folder function until a patch is available.
