Description The issue arises from a missing capability check on the listPostsCategory function, allowing authenticated attackers with subscriber-level access to obtain post listings by category for published posts. This is due to the plugin's reliance on nonce checks for access control, which are accessible to all authenticated users regardless of their role.

Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 4.5.3, update to a version that includes a fix for the missing capability check on the listPostsCategory function. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the listPostsCategory function to prevent unauthorized data access until a patch is available.
