Description The issue is related to Cross-Site Request Forgery due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the process bulk activate product function. This allows unauthenticated attackers to bulk activate products via a forged request if they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.

Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 5.4.8, consider disabling the process bulk activate product function until a patch is available to prevent exploitation. Restrict access to areas where this function is used to minimize the risk of bulk product activation by unauthorized parties.
